NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament

Northern Kentucky Baseball’s first appearance in the NCAA Tournament ended last Saturday. The Norse were swept out with losses to Tennessee and Southern Miss. Tennessee awaits either East Carolina or Evansville in the best-of-three super regionals. ECU and Evansville play Monday at Noon on ESPNU. Kentucky is the closest regional team of interest left in the tournament. They will face either Oregon State or UC Irvine in the super regionals. Those teams will continue a suspended game today in Corvallis, OR.

West Virginia and Virginia are also advancing to the super regionals. West Virginia will face either North Carolina or defending champions LSU. Those teams play Monday at 6 PM on ESPN2. Virginia will play Kansas State in their super regional series. The super regionals will begin on Friday and run through June 10th.

NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships

Wednesday-Saturday in Eugene, OR.

Coverage will air Wednesday through Friday on ESPN 2. Starting Wednesday at 7:30 PM, Thursday at 8:30 PM and Friday at 9 PM. Saturday’s coverage will air on ESPN at 5:30 PM. Additional coverage will be live streamed on ESPN+.

The Memorial Tournament

The PGA Tour returns to Ohio this weekend. With the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village in Dublin, OH. The tournament runs Thursday through Sunday. Coverage can be seen on Golf Channel each day. Thursday and Friday’s Golf Channel coverage begins at 2 PM. Their Saturday and Sunday coverage begins at 12:30 PM. CBS will air coverage on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 PM.

French Open

Tennis’ French Open will conclude this weekend. Daily coverage is available on Tennis Channel. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s coverage begins at 5 AM. Tennis Channel’s coverage on Thursday begins at 6 AM and Friday’s coverage begins at 8 AM. NBC and Peacock will have coverage of the semifinal and finals. Starting Thursday with the women’s semifinals at 11 AM. NBC’s coverage of the men’s semifinals will begin Friday at 11 AM.

Coverage of the finals will air Saturday and Sunday at 9 AM on NBC and Peacock. Online radio coverage will also be available on RolandGarros.com. Peyton Stearns was the last Cincinnati area native contending in the tournament. She lost in the third round of the women’s singles tournament last Saturday to Mirra Andreeva. Last Friday Stearns and doubles partner Zhang Shuai lost. In the first round of the women’s doubles tournament to Emma Navarro and Diana Shnaider.
