College Baseball

Northern Kentucky Baseball will play in the NCAA Tournament’s Knoxville regional this weekend. No.4 seed NKU will face No.1 seed Tennessee on Friday. First pitch for that game is set for 7 PM on SEC Network. The Knoxville regional also features No 2. seed Southern Miss and No.3 seed Indiana. Southern Miss and Indiana will play on Friday at 1 PM on ESPN+.

The winners of Friday’s games will play this Saturday at 6 PM. While the teams that lose on Friday will play Saturday at Noon. The full Knoxville regional bracket is available via NCAA.com.

French Open

Tennis’s second grand slam tournament is underway in Paris. Daily coverage is available on Tennis Channel and Bally Sports’ regional networks. NBC and Peacock will air coverage this Saturday and Sunday at Noon. Online radio coverage is also available daily on RolandGarros.com. Peyton Stearns is greater Cincinnati’s lone contender in this French Open. Stearns beat Lucija Ciric Bagaric in a full three sets on Tuesday. She will play Daria Kasatkina on Thursday at a time to be determined.

In the women’s doubles tournament, Stearns and partner Zhang Shuai will play on Wednesday. They will take on Emma Navarro and Diana Shnaider at 5 AM. Greater Cincinnati native J.J. Wolf lost in the first round to Carlos Alcaraz last Sunday. While Caty McNally is recovering from elbow surgery that she had earlier this year.
