Flying Pig Marathon Weekend

The 26th Flying Pig Marathon will happen this weekend. Flying Pig weekend festivities begin Friday at Noon with the Fitness Expo. Taking place at Duke Energy Convention Center in Downtown Cincinnati. Friday will also feature the 50 West Mile on West Pete Rose Way at 7 PM. Several Flying Pig events will happen on Saturday in downtown Cincinnati. Starting with the 10 K race at 7 AM on Mehring Way.

College Lacrosse

Xavier will host the Big East Women’s Lacrosse Tournament this week. Beginning with the semifinals on Thursday. All tournament games will take place at Xavier’s Corcoran Field in Cincinnati. Thursday’s semifinals begin at 1 PM with No.1 seed Denver vs No.4 seed Villanova on FloSports. The second semifinal will feature No.2 seed UConn vs No.3 seed Georgetown. That game is set for Thursday at 4 PM on FloSports. The championship game will be Saturday at Noon on FS2.

Thomas More Women’s Lacrosse have advanced to the Great Midwest Tournament’s semifinals. The Saints will face No.1 seed Walsh University Thursday at 3 PM in North Canton, OH. The winner will face either Findlay or Ashland University in the conference championship. The Great Midwest championship will be Saturday. All tournament games can be streamed on the Great Midwest Digital Network.

College Tennis

Xavier Women’s Tennis will compete in the NCAA Tournament. As a result of winning the Big East Conference title. The first round will begin on Saturday, Xavier’s opponent will be announced Monday evening. The tournament selection show can be seen Monday at 6:30 PM on NCAA.com.
