Today’s solar eclipse will begin in the Cincinnati area at 1:52 PM Eastern time. The eclipse is set to conclude in the Cincinnati area at 4:24 PM Eastern. Cincinnati itself will experience a near total eclipse. The moon is set to obscure 99.4% of the sun in Cincinnati at the eclipse’s peak. Several cities and towns in and near the Cincinnati area will experience a total eclipse. NASA’s website has an interactive map that will inform you about the time the eclipse will happen in your area. Also, the American Astronomical Society has tips on how to safely view the eclipse.

The Masters Golf Tournament

Golf’s first major of 2024 is this weekend in Augusta, GA. The Masters begins in earnest on Thursday morning. ESPN will have live coverage Thursday and Friday starting at 3 PM.
