Cincinnati Bengals vs Minnesota Vikings

The Bengals and Vikings go into Saturday with a few similarities. Both teams are 7-6 and staying in contention with backup quarterbacks. Cincinnati won back-to-back games with Jake Browning as their quarterback. Minnesota goes into Monday as the NFC’s No.6 seed with quarterback Josh Dobbs. He was benched in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Minnesota ultimately won the game 3-0. Nick Mullens concluded the game as the Vikings quarterback. Saturday could be the second time the Bengals face Dobbs this season.

Dobbs began the season with the Arizona Cardinals, whom the Bengals beat 34-20 on October 8th. Mullens is Minnesota’s fourth quarterback to have playing time for them this season. Cincinnati is one of six AFC teams with a 7-6 record. Cincinnati wouldn’t qualify if the playoffs began Monday, heading into today as the AFC’s No.10 seed. However, Cincinnati is still in the playoff hunt. After their overtime win against the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars last Monday. Then beating the AFC’s current No.7 seed Indianapolis Colts 34-14 on Sunday.
