The Cincinnati Reds are striving to start a new winning streak this week. After their 12-game winning streak was snapped last Saturday. The streak marks the team’s longest winning streak of the 21st century. Culminating with Elly De La Cruz hitting for the cycle last Friday. Becoming the first Reds player to do so since Eric Davis in 1989.
Cincinnati starts this week with a three-game road trip to face the Baltimore Orioles. With the Reds striving to end a two-game losing streak. The Orioles have risen into a formidable team after spending years in the cellar. Baltimore ranks second in the American League East standings. 4.5 games behind the league-leading Tampa Bay Rays.
The Reds are striving to hang on to first place in the National League Central. Leading the Milwaukee Brewers by 0.5 games heading into Monday. USMNT CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage matches
FC Cincinnati will contend without players Brandon Vazquez and Matt Miazga again this week. As Vazquez and Miazga compete for the United States Men’s National Soccer Team. In the CONCACAF Gold Cup’s group stage this week. Vazquez scored a late goal to clinch a 1-1 draw against Jamaica last Saturday. The USMNT are tied with Jamaica for second place in Group A. MLB All-Star Game voting phase two
Phase two of voting for this year’s Midsummer Classic in Seattle begins today at Noon. Fans can vote once per day until this Thursday at Noon.
