College Sports
Xavier’s Swimming and Diving team will compete in the Big East Championships this week. Taking place Wednesday through Saturday in East Meadow, NJ. Xavier will also compete in the Big East Indoor Track and Field Championships. Taking place in Chicago, IL this Friday and Saturday. Cincinnati will take part in the American Athletic Conference’s Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend.
The AAC championships will take place Friday and Saturday in Birmingham, AL. NKU will compete in the Horizon League Indoor Championships, this Saturday and Sunday in Fort Wayne, IN. While Mount St. Joseph will host the HCAC Indoor Championships Saturday at 1 PM. Elsewhere in MSJ Athletics news, Mount St. Joseph will host Kentucky State in men’s volleyball Friday at 6 PM. MSJ’s women’s lacrosse team will host Muskingum University Saturday at 1 PM.
Cincinnati’s women’s soccer team will face Miami (Ohio) Saturday at Noon in Oxford, OH. Cincinnati’s women’s tennis team will host Western Kentucky Saturday at 1:30 PM. On the NKU beat, NKU’s women’s tennis team will host Western Kentucky. At the Five Seasons Sports Club in Crestview Hills, KY Friday at 5 PM. In college baseball news, Eastern Kentucky will host Northern Kentucky Tuesday at 4 PM in Richmond, KY. Northern Kentucky Baseball will host Western Michigan this weekend. With games Friday at 2 PM, Saturday at 1 PM and Sunday at Noon.
Xavier Baseball will face Louisville this Wednesday at 3 PM on ACC Network Extra. Meanwhile, Xavier’s women’s tennis team will face Michigan State. This Friday at 10 AM in East Lansing, MI. This comes days after a mass shooting on Michigan State’s campus. That prompted athletic events there to be postponed for most of last week. Michigan State athletic events resumed last weekend. Xavier’s women’s tennis team will also face Illinois State in East Lansing this Saturday.
Thomas More will host several events this Saturday. The Saints men’s volleyball team will host Carlow University (PA) Saturday at 9 AM. Along with Reinhardt University at 1 PM, both matches are part of the TMU Tri-Match event. At Noon, Thomas More’s men’s lacrosse team will host No.10 Webber International University (FL). TMU will host a softball doubleheader against Trinity Christian College (IL) Saturday at 1 and 3 PM.
Cincinnati Cyclones
Cyclones vs Norfolk Admirals, Wednesday at 7:30 PM.
Cyclones vs Wichita Thunder, Friday at 7:30 PM.
Cyclones at Indianapolis Fuel, Saturday at 7 PM.
