College Sports Spotlight
Nearly all of Greater Cincinnati’s cross-country teams will compete this weekend in Louisville. In the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic Saturday at E.P “Tom” Sawyer State Park. Cincinnati, Miami, Northern Kentucky, Thomas More and Xavier are the local schools set to compete in this event. Meanwhile, Mount St. Joseph’s Cross Country teams will be in Terre Haute, IN. For the Nike XC Town Twilight this Friday night at 8 PM.
Elsewhere in Mount St. Joseph’s athletics news. MSJ’s men’s golf team will compete in the Stateline Shootout. At the Miami Whitewater Golf Club in Harrison, OH Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, MSJ’s women’s volleyball team will face Thomas More. Tuesday at 7 PM at Thomas More’s Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, KY.
Meanwhile, Thomas More’s soccer teams will have a doubleheader Wednesday in Columbia, KY. TMU’s women’s soccer team will face No.22 Lindsey Wilson at 6 PM. Lindsey Wilson and TMU’s men’s teams will play at 8 PM. Thomas More’s men’s rugby team will face Iowa Central CC in Fort Dodge, IA. That game is scheduled to start Saturday at 11 AM.
Cincinnati’s Women’s Tennis team will host the UC/Pam Whitehead Invitational this weekend. The invitational, which will also feature Xavier, starts Friday and runs through Saturday. Elsewhere in Cincinnati athletics, the Bearcats Swimming and Diving teams will be in Indianapolis. For an event starting Saturday at Noon. While the Bearcats baseball team will have a game at Notre Dame Saturday at 1 PM.
Xavier’s Swimming team will be in Louisville Friday at 3 PM. On Saturday, Xavier’s men’s soccer team will host Connecticut at 7 PM on FloSports. Xavier’s women’s soccer team will host Seton Hall Sunday at 1 PM. At the same day and time, Xavier will host Butler in volleyball. Both of Sunday’s events can be seen on FloSports.
Northern Kentucky’s women’s volleyball team will host Green Bay Friday at 6 PM. Along with hosting Milwaukee Saturday at 4 PM. NKU will also host a soccer double-header on Saturday. Starting at Noon with a women’s match against Robert Morris. NKU’s men’s soccer team will host Green Bay at 3 PM. On Sunday, NKU’s softball team will host Thomas More at 11 AM. Later in the day at 4 PM, NKU softball will host Bellarmine.
