FC Cincinnati vs. Charlotte

After the 2-2 tie hosting their “Hell is Real” Derby rival Columbus Crew last Saturday. Putting FCC a point out of their conference’s top seven. FC Cincinnati will host the team from that other Queen City this week. Hosting Charlotte Saturday at 7:30 PM at TQL Stadium. Saturday’s match can be seen on WSTR-TV (64) and ESPN+. FC Cincinnati’s radio broadcast can be found on The Project 100.7 and 106.3 FM.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals will whittle down their roster from 80 to 53 players this week. The NFL roster cut deadline is Tuesday at 4 PM.

Florence Y’alls

The Y’alls will wrap up their 2022 season this week. Starting a three-game home series Tuesday against the Joliet Slammers. Then wrapping up the season with a three-game series against the Evansville Otters. Florence goes into this week with a 35-53 record. 20 games out of first place in the Frontier League’s West division as of Monday morning.

The Washington Wild Things lead the division. With the top three teams in each division qualifying for the playoffs. Florence has a chance to play spoiler this week. Since Joliet and Evansville are both contending in the last week of the regular season. Evansville is tied for second place with the Schaumburg Boomers.

Joliet goes into this week fifth in the division, four games back of the Boomers. While Florence will finish the season under .500. They aren’t in any danger of having the worst record in the league. That title will go to the 6-84 Empire State Greys. The Y’alls schedule for this week is featured below.

College Cross Country

Northern Kentucky will host this weekend’s Queen City Invitational. Featuring Northern Kentucky, Xavier, Mount St. Joseph and other colleges. The invitational is set to start Friday at 5 PM in Highland Heights, KY. Elsewhere locally, Cincinnati and Miami (Ohio) will take part in the RedHawk Rumble in Oxford, OH. That event will take place Saturday at a time yet to be announced.
