Last week in Cincinnati Reds baseball
The Cincinnati Reds wrapped up an impressive week on a bittersweet note. Losing 1-0 to the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday in Pittsburgh. Pirates’ catcher Michael Perez later scored through KeBryan Hayes’ RBI force-out.

In their home victories against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Reds also shut out the Pirates in that series’ opener last Thursday. Along with beating Pittsburgh 8-2 last Friday.
Meanwhile, the Reds are a team on the mend. First baseman Joey Votto is striving to work his way back into the Reds’ starting lineup. Minor continues to recover from a shoulder injury. Elsewhere, starting pitcher Luis Castillo made his 2022 debut last week. He is also emerging from a recent shoulder injury.
