This week’s review takes a closer look at the Cincinnati Bengals’ 2020 schedule. A schedule packed with intriguing games and story lines.
The NFL released their 2020 season schedule last Thursday. Moving forward with their plans to have the season start on time. The Cincinnati Bengals will start their upcoming regular season at home. Facing the Los Angeles Chargers on September 13th at 4:05 PM Eastern time. Cincinnati will have their first of their two prime time games overall in Week Two. In their road and divisional opener against the Cleveland Browns. With a Thursday Night Football clash on September 17th at 8:20 PM Eastern.
Cincinnati’s next AFC North clash will be in Week Five in Baltimore. Facing the Baltimore Ravens on October 11th. The Bengals face the Browns in Cincinnati on October 25th. Cincinnati’s first meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers will be on the road. Facing the Steelers after Cincinnati’s bye week on November 15th.
The Bengals will face the Steelers at home on Monday Night Football. With Cincinnati’s regular season prime time finale on December 21st at 8:15 PM Eastern. While wrapping up the regular season against Baltimore on January 3rd in Cincinnati. Outside of the Bengals’ two prime time games. Their rest of their divisional games all kick off at 1 PM Eastern.
Cincinnati’s first inter-conference game is in Week Three. Facing the Philadelphia Eagles on September 27th at 1 PM Eastern time. Wrapping up the Bengals first road trip of the season. Cincinnati’s inter-conference games will pit them against NFC East opponents. Visiting the Washington Redskins on November 22nd at 1 PM Eastern. While the New York Giants come to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving weekend. Facing each other on November 29th at 1 PM Eastern.
A homecoming will be part of Cincinnati’s inter-conference finale on December 13th. With the Dallas Cowboys facing the Bengals in Cincinnati at 1 PM Eastern. As former Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton returns to Cincinnati. After being released by the Bengals on April 30th. In a game pitting him against his Cincinnati successor Joe Burrow.
Florida’s AFC teams provide two noteworthy games for the Bengals. One game pits the two top quarterbacks of this year’s draft class. When Joe Burrow and the Bengals face Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. Both being the only quarterbacks among this year’s top five overall picks.
